Marci Gardner
Palo Verde High School

Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2008, Marci Gardner began her career teaching K-12 music in rural Nevada, where she taught elementary music, along with middle school and high school choir. She is currently in her eighth year teaching music in the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, with four years as an elementary music specialist and children’s choir director, and three years teaching high school choir. She is entering her second year as the choir director at Palo Verde High School.

She earned an undergraduate degree in music education with an emphasis in vocal performance from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, a second bachelor’s degree in K-8 general education from UNLV, and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Southern Utah University.
Marci has served on the board of the Nevada ACDA chapter for seven years. She has also served as the Clark County School District Orff Festival chair and co-chair, and has three levels of Orff certification.

She is married to Brian Gardner and they are the proud parents of Casey, Kenna, Wes and Jayce.
